1. Solomon's horn has harmed him
With yearning for his beloved's face it will afflict him

2. He turned away from his horn so nothing
Would distract him in the morning

3. How often the horn promises a meeting yet
How often it lies in its promise and betrays him

4. The horn knows not his beloved's face though it sees
His rear from a mile away and recognizes him
