1. My repentance was ruined by a lad,
A tender branch and a full moon.

2. The full moon exposes her face completely,
And the moist rod makes her stand straight.

3. The vagina of the beautiful lady is for the adulterers
A place for prayer day and night.

4. She is a woman, but never walked
Except that a boy appeared to my eyes.

5. How strange are your sick eyes that hurt me,
And are cured by what hurts me and makes me sick.

6. Mix me a drink with the spittle of a lad,
For the sweetest love is sinning together.

7. Wine makes its drinker drunk, and the spittle of
A lad makes awake the drowsy one.

8. On my cheek a flood of tears
Where patience drowns amidst blame.

9. Love won’t be sweet unless enlightened
By sins that cover its clothes.

10. I don’t enjoy the union of a lover
Or see in it for me major sins.

11. I never possessed love or tasted in it
So its lawful became like unlawful.

12. Its lawful is cold, so I never had
While in it what makes love passionate.

13. So the lawful of love is diluted wine,
And unlawful of love is complete liquor.

14. Whoever prolongs suckling passions’ udders
Makes it - I see - hard to wean.

15. So enjoy your flirts and your
Young lovers, else days will pass it by.

16. Prayers will erase your sins,
And humility, fear, and fasting.

17. Hellfire will never touch, I think,
Skin covered by Islam’s clothes.
