And his generosity and goodness
١. وسائلةٍ عن الحسنِ بن وهبٍ
وعما فيه من كرم وخِيرِ
2. I said he is refined but
I see he is too free with his veils
٢. فقلت هو المهذب غيرَ أني
أراه كثير إرخاءِ الستور
3. And his favorite boytoy
Is Husayn when alone on his bed
٣. وأكثرُ ما يغنّيه فتاهُ
حسينٌ حينَ يخلو بالسرير
4. If not for the wind, one could hear
From his room the clinking of balls 'gainst rods
٤. فلولا الريحُ أسْمَعَ من بحَجْرِ
صليلَ البَيْض تُقرَع بالذكور
