1. Congratulations O Abbasids, your imam
Is the imam of guidance, generosity, and valor Ahmed

2. Just as your kingdom was established by al-Abbas
So too by al-Abbas will it be renewed amongst you

3. An imam under whose shade yesterday still works
Looking forward longingly to him is tomorrow

4. The bygone times wish that he
Would remain its everlasting duty 'til the end of time
