1. The sky has imprisoned us in a generous confinement,
From a generous one, and in the abode of a noble free man.

2. So we have remained in the protection that we claimed,
Of solution, knowledge, attainment and blessing.

3. In safety and refuge, between pouring rain
And help for an old and recent accident.

4. A divider, dividing the gifts, who alone
Attained the heights, without an associate.

5. So we saw the heights were more deserving of him
Than them, in the judgement of every wise one.

6. Like a heavenly drink, his drink of pure wine,
And the blend of pure wine is from gentle blowing.

7. And songs that are like the playing of youths
Mocking the patience of the forbearing.

8. All righteous, though created from one bending over
With kindness and uprightness.

9. In gardens like meadows, reviving you
With its gentle breezes, gently blowing.

10. Whoever drank what he drank, and heard what was heard
Left no pinnacle for the cupbearer.

11. May God make the wind of his enduring kingdom
A breeze surpassing all other breezes.
