1. If a people draft a plan for a city
It will demand of them many times over for the graves
١. إذا اختطّ قومٌ خِطةً لمدينةٍ
تقاضتهمُ أضعافَها للمقابِر
2. And in that is what would forbid them to build
And acquire except as provisions for a traveler
٢. وفي ذاك ما ينهاهُمُ أن يشيّدوا
وأن يقتنوا إلا كزاد المسافرِ
