1. My path to you is my letter to you
So do not sever my path to you

2. I seek refuge in Allah from any fault
That would close the door of your kindness to me

3. So instruct your chosen successor
About my letters and make known my state to you

4. And though my caution against forgetfulness has failed
My reliance on writing to you is enough for me
