1. I saw the people, the most generous among them,
Were those with beautiful bodies and forms.
١. رأيتُ الناسَ أكرَمهم عليهِم
ذوو الأجسام والصُّوَرِ الحسانِ
2. They startle at the slightest sound when they hear it,
As if they were unfaithful women.
٢. يَرُوعهمُ الطَّريرُ إذا رأَوْهُ
كأنّهمُ نساؤهمُ الزواني
