So you found in giving manners a chosen generosity

5. And among people there is one who gives trade-mindedly
And another who gives like pouring rain

6. While you balanced the two states and never stopped
The Middle ways are for you the flower of every jewel

7. So for you is praise the people missed the door to
For a long time, generation after generation

8. And however much people guard it from the unworthy
It is unguarded from you, O son of the provider
