1. O master who inherited glory
Above every eminent master

2. Who went on to carry knowledge and proof
The burden of the wise, not the foolish

3. At times unraveling, at others tying knots
Ready for every stubborn opponent

4. Revive what your hands initiated
With a new beginning and repetition

5. And remember the covenant and nurture it in me
And preserve our sanctity with justice and monotheism

6. For they unite us, and allegiance
Is a third, it being our word of warning

7. Servant of a sun, your father, and he is our father
We do not call you from a distant place

8. Our bond is one, and these are relatives
Whose touch is like the touch of a vein's cord

9. So tend to a sheikh, if he seeks your pardon alive
You would not see him satisfied with the ascetic

10. And imagine him an intercessor for me, worried
For I have fallen into terrible straits

11. His right is obligatory upon you, and my right
In properly conveying this discourse lies

12. And I see myself closer to you than him
In my inclination to the martyred successor

13. I am of the successor's supporters
Blessings be upon the Praiseworthy, the Mighty
