1. Say to the prince, for right has no power -
Cease your cruel blows upon the poor.
١. قل للأمير وما بالحقِّ من باس
دع عنك ضربك أخماساً لأسداس
2. If you have two, do not begrudge giving one away -
Either prosperity or relief from despair.
٢. من اثنتين فلا تبخل بواحدةٍ
إمّا النوال وإما راحة الياس
