Yet to its rider it's no wretched mount

Flashing like the bright rising dawn

6. How strange! A base weakling
Assailed by an angry noble lord

7. Sincere loyalty counseled me
Affection leaning neither way

8. So pardon my crime and favor me
You've pardoned crime, which is spilled blood

9. Do not prolong estrangement from my service
For You readily honor every noble act

10. You remain as You eternally were
Watering the garden, training the twining vines

11. You woke to loftiness, and those who pretend to it
Snore in their sleep, to it oblivious

12. How many unlawful bloods have You forbidden
That almost burst forth in violence

13. How much good fortune have You bestowed
Though its seeker imagines only misery

14. How can You deviate from the ways of nobility?
Your house is the middle house among them
