1. We repeat worn out words
When repeated to listeners

2. Sometimes a prayer for what was decreed
By the Judge of judges secretly

3. And sometimes praise for what has passed
Long ago on the tongues of people

4. While you repeat to us, attaining
Repetition, the death of the hopeful

5. What a difference, what a difference between us
You have clearly missed excellence

6. I say to students of what you attained
Your attaining it, though lauders

7. Describe it and fulfil it truly for him
We count you excellent describers

8. And a delegation of praise visited him
Hopeful for his good deed

9. So they came having been proven truthful, hopeful
And successful according to what they were proven praisers

10. That is what they hoped for, and the praisers
Do not lie, nor are they lied to
