1. I implore you, O You of great pride and mercy
And Your known favors among the worlds

2. And Your good names and highest attributes
For You are the one whose help is sought to uncover great things

3. A treacherous group has violated its covenant with You and transgressed
And sought to destroy this religion, one of its pillars

4. So make them, O Lord, disgraced instead of mighty
And make their strength into weakness, O You of mercy

5. They have spread corruption on earth by their injustice
And their mischief therein, violating the sacred

6. Destroying lives and offspring blatantly
Branding the people like vicious beasts

7. So they came in boiling, blazing enmity
Against those who established the towering pillars of Islam

8. Wanting to uproot the religion and guidance
And raise the banners of rebellion and injustice

9. Leaving the people of Islam miserable and disgraced
While oppression prevails the lands

10. But, praise be to God, the awe from past conquests
Keeps them at bay

11. So they recoiled from Islam after their hubris
And work cut short from achieving their goals

12. They have come back, thanks to God, not attaining their hopes
But they came in the midst of sin and vice

13. Oh, what an affliction for Islam from every wicked
And ignorant person violating its laws

14. And from every pretender of religion and truth, but
Cannot defend Islam from the crush

15. One who associates with knowledge, but uses it
To ingratiate the world and collect money

16. Yet has turned away from the truth
By abandoning guidance, leaning towards injustice

17. Whoever turns to follow desires
And arrogantly and regrettably harms

18. Will know God's punishment on the day we meet Him
And in this life, experience adversities

19. As for what heals in God's Book
And in the sunnah of the Chosen One, Master of Humans

20. In Surat Ash-Shura is an explanation of the desired
Path of guidance, so ask every scholar about it

21. God has ordained following Muhammad
And his brothers, and God is the most just of rulers

22. In Surat Al-'An`ām is the clearest proof
And firmest argument against every adversary

23. And in Āl ʿImrān is the clear explanation
Indeed, the clearest detail, despite every denier

24. As for the authentic narrations - they are indeed
More numerous to enumerate in prose

25. Oh what sorrow for Islam, the religion and guidance
Upon its noble people, highest in nobility

26. The soldiers of God surround the place of sedition
Shielding it with sharp, piercing weapons

27. One who attributes himself to knowledge without wavering
Or caving to critics’ blame

28. My Lord, O Bestower, Splitter of seeds
And daybreaks, best of rulers

29. O Lifter of the seven layered heavens, elevated
Above the Throne by Your essence, above the worlds

30. O Hearer of whispers, Seer of the unseen
Of all hidden and visible things

31. Strengthen Islam after its decline
And make steadfast its defenders, O You of Mercy

32. And by aiding religion, destroy those who have gone astray
And their idols, every rebel and unjust one

33. My Camel riding straight, true of pace
Tying knots, hiding tracks in the dunes

34. Seductive is your swaying howdah in the deserted plains
And the tinkling of your bracelets over the landmarks

35. Carry to your beloved companions my greetings
To the brothers and friends keeping company

36. Greetings from one with a burdened soul and teary eyes
For after the lightning and clouds bid farewell

37. They left yearning upon the branches and turtledoves
Join, my God, whenever drought begets rainfall

38. Upon the Master of Humans, the Elite of Adam
And his companions through the generations
