1. The highest abodes, when their banners have withered away,
My tears attack as if they were their rains.

2. And the clouds thundered when it intended in its murmuring,
And the ornaments - alas - its system disciplined them.

3. Or how does the heart recover from its sorrows,
And the self takes a break for an hour from its pains?

4. From the memory of every gazelle or doe
Melancholy, her talk takes away the sickness.

5. It captivates the minds with its beauty from its beauty
Until its niceness takes away its dreams.

6. And it shows you a perfect face in softness
Like the full moon on the night when it completes its fullness.

7. And a moist lip like the red anemones that
blossomed in the hot sand after its flowers perished.

8. And you'd think its nectar is pure honey or that
it is fine wine whose years have prolonged.

9. And its branch resembles the wings of a dark night
whose tender breasts are delicate in their bodies.

10. If only it would wake up from crying or be roused -
Alas! It laments those whose banners have withered away.

11. So leave the abodes and their memory for perhaps
the heart would relax and its worries be uncovered.

12. And when the worries conspire and unite
and step toward you - the bones of calamities -

13. Then repel the worries with fading gray clouds
bent aslant like the gutter's edge.

14. Like the restless camel, arousing the yearning
of the emigrant with its bellowing roar.

15. Through it, remove your worries and do not obey
the saying of the enemies when their blames have broken out.

16. Until you settle down in the meadows at a mosque
to which the eminent people of the world come.

17. Readers or writers who have emigrated
from every harm to the guidance of their purpose.

18. So those traits distance themselves in hopes that
after the diaspora their days might regress.

19. And the evils clear away from it, and the joys appear
in it, and its banners are erected.

20. And in it the auspices are viewed, while
the sinister departs from it, so its sides illuminate.

21. And the full moon of joy rose over it, so those expanses shone
and its darkness vanished.

22. And Ahmad's law has anchored there
and after confusion, its pillars have steadied.

23. So upon the meadows and the inhabitants therein
the most immaculate greeting - what fine rains they have.

24. And the lightnings of the clouds interact with a cheek
that tells the darkness - clouds that have passed away.

25. And the pinnacles of the winds toss and roar
crying over the little hill - the turtledoves cooing.

26. And upon the Messenger, his family, and his companions
we direct prayers and peace - their conclusion.
