15. A genius in decadence, wounding, recoiling
Weeping at the wound, discovering instead

16. How much the Nile was made to drink of its wrongs
And sustenance bitterness that it swallowed ahead

17. It carried on until you, O Mustafa, arose
Against its horror, raging, thundering ahead

18. In the foolishness of years, the Nile forgot
And its people drugged with oppression ahead

19. You rose like the raging, thunderous storm
Marching ahead, never wavering or drawing back instead

20. You donned the fetter from your heavens a fetter
Carved in iron an immortal inscription ahead

21. Chants of your love for Egypt and death
In her passion, rapture and worship ahead

22. And a prayer for her glory - you were in it
The fervent worshipper, shores and banks sanctified ahead

23. And zeal for the homeland’s sanctity
With a will like its Nile, never exhausted ahead

24. And a defense of the protected - you were in it
Seeking no other protected land instead

25. A knight in the Nile's darkness you marched on
With a flame from the heavens providing aid ahead

26. A torch in your hand that startled wings
