1. You tempted me with generosity when you began me
With abundant favors and honor
١. أَطمَعتَني بِالجودِ حينَ بَدَأتَني
بِجَلائِلِ النُعماءِ وَالإِكرامِ
2. So if you created one granted favors in bliss
Should I not expect the favor to be completed
٢. فَإِذا خَلَقتَ مُنَعَّماً في غَبطَةٍ
أَفَلا أُؤَمِّلُ نِعمَةِ الأَتمامِ
3. It is absurd, if the generous one grants favors
That he would exchange gifts for deprivation
٣. حاشا الكَريمُ إِذا تَفَضَّلَ مُنعِماً
أَن يُبَدِّلَ الأَنعامَ بِالإِحرامِ
4. Glory to Him, the Beneficent, Transcendent
Above what would tarnish the beauty of His blessings
٤. سُبحانثهُ مَن مُحسِنٌ مُتَنَزِّةٌ
عَمّا يَشينَ مَحاسِنَ الأَنعامِ
