1. Let go of blaming and allow its excuse
From a draft whose cup polished the pearl

2. And if this wish grew bigger
I’m satisfied with picking the roses

3. There is no fault in that or this
Or forbidden that needs you to stop it

4. This, oh companion, is lawful
In all the different doctrines

5. The knowledgeable have clearly stated
And a group of them for those who reject foolishness

6. And they established proofs of permissibility
Including its absolving of passion

7. So turn your mind from any forbidden
Or lawful, there is no rigidity in that

8. And if you feared and this assumption
Of a watcher of his tongue in it slackness

9. Or a bore who wants to meddle with us
Come let’s fulfill our purpose with kindness

10. And if you fear someone would see us
Secretly from his dignity

11. I will walk and you turn towards me
Like a loved one who came from his longing

12. And I will greet you and you come near
Like an eager one with his fervor

13. And with this what we seek will be easy
A kiss, a bite, or sucking of lips

14. And if you want, then there are many gardens
How many enchantresses are gathered there

15. And the fortunes there are more delicious and splendid
Where we find your like of beauty

16. Among myrtles, jasmine, roses
And lilies we have chosen

17. Then the wishes will be complete for a heart
