1. Why do I see the bough of delight
Swaying and bending in joy?

2. And the lord of hands drawing near
Proffering flowers of spring?

3. It reminded me of our son Sulayman
Who gathers virtues.

4. And the harbinger of good tidings here
Strives towards him, never tiring.

5. When I knew it was him, indeed
God, it pleased me.

6. And happiness also spread among us
Until the stingy heart was sated.

7. So God doubled our fortune
With a lad building glory.

8. And called Ali proclaiming
That inheritance does not vanish,

9. Be it honour or wealth,
It is found in his ancestry.

10. That’s why I said, making clear,
A time with him has delighted me,

11. With his affection Ahmad lives on
For his splendid ancestors.

12. So for the honored in-law
And his family the pleasant fortune.

13. As for our dear brother
For every intimacy he gathers,

14. And God protects them for us
Honouring them, and gladdening me.
