1. To the state of the Turks I complain
Of the intensity of passion and yearning
١. لِدَولَةِ التُركِ أَشكو
هَولَ الهَوى وَاِنهِيالَه
2. And what my heart endures
From the injustice of that gazelle
٢. وَما يُعانيهِ قَلبي
مِن جَورِ تِلكَ الغَزالَه
3. And the crux of the matter is that
I am weary of all weariness
٣. وَغايَةَ الأَمرِ أَنّي
مَلَلَتُ كُلَّ المَلالَه
4. And I have come to them
Seeking justice from them
٤. وَقَد أَتَيتُ إِلَيهِم
أُريدُ مِنهُم عَدالَه
