Bestowing praise and bounty selflessly

May yet exceed in acts of charity

3. Rejoice, for by our Master Caliph's grace
A rank is yours, exalted station won

4. The Basha's title, lofty in its place
And higher posts, I see, will later come

5. So don the raiment fortune's hands have sewn
For you, fine robes befitting glory's form

6. Read from the book of light, his history's tone
And celebrate, O friend, your fortune's morn
