Whose loftiness brought good fortune, and won glory and generosity,

2. Your intelligence and gift are strong in what they have gained
While other people's talents are limited and known,

3. You have brought me into well-constructed houses
Displaying a favor that destiny envies,

4. Beautiful though it is, it feels cramped by its spaciousness
And every verse is locked in excellent composition,

5. I would not have walked through its courtyard
Had my understanding of benevolence been customary,

6. But obedience to command makes me deserve
That the intention in my soul becomes evident,

7. So pour upon me and unfold its curtains, for
In praising you there is no limit, rather without bound.
