1. The eyes that have houri in their corners,
Are the eyes of those I yearn for and desire.

2. The swords of their glances in the eyelids are sheathed,
They killed us then did not bring us back to life after killing us.

3. They make the minds of those infatuated with them still, without any movement,
And the blackness of their eyelids is intimate friends with the whiteness.

4. They do double their effect on us when they stay up at night,
And they are the weakest of Allah's creation, human.
