1. This is a path in the path of the Protector
Constructed by the one who endowed beauty its beauty

2. So drink and stand facing it enjoying yourself
For Sa'd is a servant and the breeze is his friend

3. Its water and breeze revive and heal
It has attained perfections, where, where is its equal?

4. For Egypt was pride through its Nile
Until this one purified, its Nile changed

5. And the Euphrates says, "I am like the one
Who contains nobility, Pasha Ali is its guarantor"

6. O you who complain of anguish and heat
It is the remedy for guts burned, its anguish

7. Go back and draw good, pure water
That extinguishes the blaze, little and great

8. The King of Kings whose benefit
On earth is long and extended

9. He showed guidance so benefitted every generous one
And made clear a benefit time will not remove

10. So his path is freshwater, so I dated it
Revealer of guidance, like a sabīl his path
