1. The adornment of the gathering halls
The sons of Hussein son of Ali

2. The people of loyalty and prohibition
Of the finest class

3. In their kingdom is majesty
And it being for them manifest

4. Their conduct is praiseworthy
It was established by the guidance of the Messengers

5. Until their state became
Envied among the states

6. Clemency and forbearance are for them
A nature that has not ceased

7. They inherited it successively
From a predecessor with merit

8. No sin is too big for them
Even if it becomes like a mountain

9. But sometimes they count the one who
Sinned like the esteemed one

10. And the most hated of people to them
Is a slanderer who came with defect

11. May they take
In my path with examples

12. And pardon my wrongdoing
By their forgiving my lapses

13. For I admit
What my fingers have harvested

14. And their merit is more expansive than
My crime and error

15. So may God maintain them as
They have wished in attaining hope
