1. This is a house that brings joy to all who see it
Mercy descends in it at all times

2. It is certainly obligatory for all who enter it
To praise Allah, Lord of the Worlds

3. Since one finds in it a good station
Wherein is what one seeks of this life and faith

4. It has brought good fortune to the son of Hussein
And his noble sons, progeny of sons

5. So now it has brought him happiness and return
And for them clear victory and opening

6. And when the building is complete and dated
They will enter it in safe peace
