1. The ladies have left and with their absence
My eyes no longer find joy in anything
١. بانوا وَأَضحى الجِسمُ مِن بعدِهِم
ما تُبصِرُ العَينُ لَهُ فيّا
2. Oh what sorrow I feel for them and their words
As if their absence hasn't pained me at all
٢. يا أَسَفي مِنهُم وَمِن قَولِهُم
ما ضَرَّكَ الفَقدُ لَنا شيّا
3. In what state will I meet them again
If after they've left, they still find me alive
٣. بِأَيّ وَجهٍ أَتَلَقّاهُم
إِن وَجَدوني بَعدَهُم حَيّا
