6. Arabness and foreignness in love
Are equal, so if you lose us, lament.

7. Leave off blame, for our fortitude does not
Soften for her, your subtle reproach.

8. Grant our poetry in songs is inanity,
Lewdness and however you wish it be.

9. Are his deeds in the creed of your critique intercessors
Even if the refined whisper it?

10. O my lord, the refined did not make you stumble
In the arena of straight insight.

11. Loveliness, and her pedigree suffices her
