1. The drifter has returned though his return is much like
The return of driftwood, it is praiseworthy

2. For the drifter in the world of wandering
Despite the arrogance of the favored, is peerless

3. So know your place from
His lofty stature, O frequenter

4. And I ransom you, he is glory
Fertile when chanted

5. And show compassion for the soldier
And our citizen Muhammad was martyred

6. And ask your friend Bin Bik
If you doubt that, he testifies

7. Do not expel the drifter from the abode
Of the best of drifters to expel

8. Or do you not see him, if you intended
To insult him, he is most pliant and raging

9. And the lice in his garb
Is polished pearls

10. A free man who cares not whether he lives
Miserably or splendidly

11. When life disgraced him
He rebelred against her treasures

12. And saw that money makes
Men servile, so he came tattered

13. I and whoever does not honor
His side, I strongly oppose

14. Praise God for the drifter, his
Horizons are the outstretched plains
