1. O Rustami, be diligent,
And strive for our fortune with effort,

2. For you are the one hoped for and sought,
You make hardships easier when they intensify,

3. You governed those with the wall when you did not find,
By God, any way around His rulings,

4. So for whoever you made the wall black,
There followed a great number of offspring,

5. And they are like Gog and Magog,
If you count them you cannot number them,

6. And you are Dhul Qarnayn in our time,
You have made between them a barrier.
