1. A night as long as the Day of Resurrection,
Its length deprived me of peaceful sleep.
١. وَلَيل مثل يَوم الحَشر طولاً
مَنَعَت بِهِ مِن السَهر القَرارا
2. I almost believed my drowsiness
Convinced that God had not created daylight.
٢. وَكدت أَظُنُّ فيهِ مِن سُهادي
بِأَن اللَه لَم يَخلق نَهارا
