1. My armies in the battlefields
Have resolutely girded themselves
١. جُيوشي في مَيادين القِلاعِ
حَوَت بِالحَزم عَزماً حَيدَريا
2. And here they are, under my flags you see
Lions forcing the haughty nose down
٢. وَها هِيَ تَحتَ أَعلامي تَراها
أُسوداً ترغم الأَنف الأَبيا
3. And by my name their fortune turned auspicious
And through it they attained high glory
٣. وَباسمي صارَ طالعها سَعيداً
وَقَد نالَت بِهِ شَأواً عَليا
4. And God granted me victory
By which Egypt rose above the Pleiades
٤. وَإِن اللَه أَيدني بِنَصرٍ
سَمَت مصر بِهِ فَوقَ الثُريّا
