8. He is the commander, the forbidder in the noblest state
Upon justice in it rests the throne

9. God has supported him from an honored mighty chest
With mighty victory protecting him from one who judges

10. He indeed deserves what he attained
From the servant Abdul Hamid, according to verification

11. He grew wearing the garb of royalty and supremacy
So his scent became fragrant among kings

12. And he managed the affairs of two worlds, and he
Is capable of solving every complexity

13. And how when success beamed without concealment
On his face in the cradle when he was young

Is its supporter in all tribulations

Comfort from him, and how many poor were enriched by him

20. And how many in shackles of estrangement and affliction
Were released by his great efforts

21. And how much overflowing seas in Egypt
Stream to the king’s hands over mankind

22. So if you have discarded a description of him, then he
Is a wise scholar, well-known for loyalty

23. Ambitious, protective, judicious, with insight
Devout, pure, successful, implying

24. Merciful, compassionate, immaculate helper
Warning the sinner with deterrent signs

25. His is the conduct of Al-Farooq and the just one whom
Al-Jurayri praised in his composition

26. And everyone in his time, the might of his victory
Without asking, is an expert in his traits

27. None would deny the shining sun in the sky
Except one blind or sightless

28. And they have unanimously agreed in every club and sitting place
That he is a protector for the seeker of refuge

29. Thus it is confirmed in the news before
That he is Egypt’s minister for a long time

30. And the High Office notified that its meadow
Is parallel to the meadow of integrity’s blossoms

31. So who among the rulers claims that he
Has an equivalent after the proof has been established?

32. God willed that he be the one
Who with his sublime management directs Egypt

33. And saves it from the narrowness of injustice and enmity
And that is easy upon this Almighty

34. And it is no wonder that it is verified
That through it, his usefulness to the worlds is plenty

35. And built upon his sincerity to its inhabitants
In the days of weaning, is his conscience

36. And a gushing sea of bounty poured unto it
When it handed its reins to him

37. And I fall short in the praise it deserves
Upon it Labeed and noble Zuhair

38. So by God cheer with me his rule
Through which good fortune smiles in the horizons

39. And say unto him glad tidings of the seat of precedence
Which endures through however long Thabit remains
