1. Healing the chest is the best religion, a delight
For knowledge in the lands, fresh and new

Bringing happiness to kings and servants too

3. And here is radiant Tunisia who has won
The morn after sickness, achieving what she sought

4. And all the people rose up when she was cured
With thanks to the Overseer, ever increasing

5. And my pride and joy in Egypt attained
With a healed body, reviving the heart

6. And rejoiced at the response to a prayer
Made with sincere devotion and affection

7. And with that healing their souls felt at ease
And good counsel returned to them both

8. May its generous Lord prolong its existence
And support Tunisia with righteousness

9. And remove from it sickness, adding to its strength
Ever led to adversaries for harm

10. And bless its protector for as long as a poem
Sings his praises in every assembly
