1. With you the horizon of justice in Egypt shines bright 
O minister of the king, O lofty minaret   
١. بِكَ أُفق العَدل في مَصر اِستَنارْ
 يا وَزير الملك يا عالي المَنارْ
2. O counselor, your generous hands tomorrow  
Will spurn every valley for the seas   
٢. يا مُشيراً جُود كَفيه غَدا
 يَزدَري في كُل واد بِالبِحار
3. And ally of the downtrodden whose praise  
Flowers like pearls in the string of daybreak 
٣. وَنَصيراً لِكَسير مدحه
 يَزدَهي كَالدُر في سلك النضار
4. And prince whose insight guides to  
All that brings goodness to homelands     
٤. وَأَميراً رَأيُه يَهدي إِلى
 كُل ما فيهِ صَلاحٌ للدّيار
5. And refuge for the destitute poor  
Who won without asking with easiness   
٥. وَمجيراً لِفَقير معسرٍ
 فازَ مِن غَير سؤال بِاليَسار
6. My imprisonment has been long, O Abu Al-Siddiq, in 
The era of Eid Al-Fitr in the tightest home   
٦. طالَ حَبسي يا أَبا الصَدّيق في
 عَهد عيد الفطر في أَضيق دار
7. And my little ones, their conditions have changed
Destitution has demolished them with havoc   
٧. وصغاري غَيَّرت أَحوالهم
 فاقةٌ دارَت عَلَيهم بِالدَمار
8. So relieve the plight that has befallen and the zeal 
In which is for them mending of their breaking 
٨. فاكشف الكرب الَّذي حلّ وَجُد
 بِالَّذي فيهِ لَهُم جبر انكسار
9. And fulfill the promise and relieve the agony
O father of the sublime, afore the dunes   
٩. وَانجز الوَعد وَفرّج كربة
 يا أَبا العَلياء مِن قبل البوار
10. And be kind to a servant thankful  
For hands that were not limited by confinement   
١٠. وَتلطف بخديم شاكر
 لِأَياد لَم تقيَّد بانحصار
11. And suffice him in seven months  
What he saw of the pain of waiting     
١١. وَكَفاه في شُهور سَبعة
 ما بَراه مِن أَليم الانتظار
12. May God increase your acceptance, what appeared 
Radiant lights from the sun of day 
١٢. زادَكَ المَولى قبولاً ما بَدا
 ساطع الأَنوار مِن شَمس النَهار
