1. Our delight opened from joy and good tidings
At the lightning flash of the star of the age

2. Scion of glories, full moon of glory and splendor
Summit of loftiness, aspiration of victory and triumph

3. You are attributed to the Clement Lord Muhammad
So you have attained the most sublime fame

4. Indeed, fairness has prevailed now his heart is sound
And his adversary has returned with schemes into perdition

5. Thus our times are pleasant and our joy increased
And we have attained what we hope for of safety and good tidings

6. And our rapture upon arrival was renewed
And all our nights became as the Night of Destiny

7. And the curve of the full moon nearly vanished since he came
To congratulate it on the return, perfectly tanned

8. O unique one of the world and spirit of its people
And beauty of the days, singular one of time

9. O spreader of benevolence without asking
And upholder of knowledge with wisdom and thought

10. O rider on the steed of glory, giving free rein
To ease and facility in the straits of hardship

11. O glorious one, exalted in every merit
And best of those who revived knowledge in Egypt

12. O benefactor, who rains his clouds among the people
And mender of the heart of chivalry from breaking

13. O Kaaba of succor, righteousness, and loyalty
And deliverer of the healthy from harm and affliction

14. Congratulations on this return, and look with favor
Upon the prime of thought in your sublime virtues

15. And receive my prince with acceptance, his brow
For that is for her loftier and dearer than a dowry

16. I still live in bliss and ample bounty
Addressing you with refined verse and prose

17. The light of your face still strives among us
And guides goodness on land and sea

18. That light never ceases to rise supreme in the land
Above flowers, the shining sun, and the full moon
