1. For Your Excellency there are three departments
I organized with my authority, diligence and care

2. And its leadership shone brightly from you
Its works are published far and wide

3. And through it the blessings of endowments flowed
Watering Egypt, even overflowing the Two Holy Places

4. And with your wisdom its tasks gained success
And its accomplishments on plains and in mountains

5. And for you education, its students sang joyfully
With praises of ancestors and parents

6. And excellent, perfect composition by one perfect
Sincere at heart and with his lips

7. One loyal to you with praise in a state
In which you gained the two honors

8. When you joined a beneficent King in Egypt
Who revived the era of the two Umar

9. And you sought knowledge and succeeded in obtaining
Its treasures from both countries

10. And you came in robes of dignity with wisdom
Whose light shone on the wise

11. And the problems of inspection you averted
From him with justice to both sides

12. And since you proceeded straight and entrusted him
With determination to undertake the two tasks

13. Through you the three departments, their light
Grew brighter, excelling the two moons

14. And it smiled when it attained under your leadership
The pinnacle of both hopes
