2. He is the mighty one who sacrificed his kingdom
In Egypt, with justice and kindness celebrating

3. He whose famed sword is in his hand
Over the heads of enemies preceding fate

4. He whose victorious army pledged allegiance to him
For its steadfastness, the value of perfection rose

5. He who defeated the rebel with his might
In every battlefield among humanity an example made

6. O joyous king, auspicious is your rising star
And with it, your lands their hopes fulfilled

7. You, with whom this army has filled
Its roaring lions the plain and mountain alike

8. And its cannons rained from battle’s angry sky
Upon the heads of enemies in their own land destruction

9. So whenever a specter appeared to them in the waste
They imagined it death upon them descended

10. How to survive when all in their defeat
From the path to their settlements bewildered fled

11. You whom none rivals in battle
Nor any mighty one when you charge matches

12. You whose spear in chests a stab
That brings your foes closer to their death has

13. You before whom if Mars drew near, it fell
And its star in the arenas of conflict dimmed

14. If you appeared in the war of Antarah
Terrified, his soldiers would flee and not stand

15. And if alone you marched to the heroes
They would scatter before you arrived

16. And leave their families and homelands while your men
Seized the riches, clothes and spoils

17. You who empowered those loyal
While time and its enemies from the noble disgraced

18. And humiliated those not your patron, in disarray
Their lives became, imprisoned

19. You in hardship and comfort alike relied upon
To relieve distress, a downpour of aid unleashed

20. Be then for the sons of this era of which you alone
A strong fortress to drive back the enemy battered

21. Still for the king - O finest of men - the father
With victory, along with your protected cub, I remain

22. No longer a feast where in prayer for you both
All turn to the Merciful imploring

23. Has my pride sincerely chronicled it -
The Feast of the Sacrifice in it the joyous king arrived
