1. The blessed return of the happy one brings joy to the people,
And his coming after absence is praiseworthy,

2. And his return to his homelands cures,
Both the near and far people of Egypt,

3. And his coming with victory around him,
Seeking out new joy for the people,

4. Why shouldn’t his return bring what his homelands desire,
Of his justice they seek?

5. He still remains in great rule that protected him,
With wisdom for events that is right,

6. The sea of his generosity always overflows,
Copious and endless at all times,

7. Or the noble one managed the matter generously,
With an army whose might makes mountains bow,

8. Or he stood thanking the people sincerely,
For their good favor, his servants,

9. Or he walked humbly in the robes of honor,
And praise of this king is glorious,

10. Or the heights rejoiced saying, record
My joy in Egypt, the August Blessed.
