1. Silence is the best course, except to praise the Creator
So praise Him, and avoid the son of the uncle and neighbor

2. This is the truth, so do justice and avoid others
Do not trust the words of a liar and traitor

3. If you know God, and trust in His grace
Do not fear the oppression of tyrants

4. Lock your mouth if you want salvation
And be patient with torture by fire

5. Silence, patience and surrender, my hope
The weak attained through them what an attacker could not

6. As for gossip, the Almighty has forbidden it
To all humanity, so beware the grip of the Powerful

7. The most foolish people are faultfinders
Obsessed with lies, injustice, slander and shame

8. A slip of the tongue has no cure
Except death, if the Creator does not show mercy

9. So take care of your grieving heart
Thoughts led to loss of souls and lifespans

10. And cut off your hopes in family and children
And friends following their whims

11. And reject the call of words that bring you
Nothing but humiliation and shackles in Egypt

12. Adhere to silence until the time passes
When the wicked rise above the righteous

13. If you see a flaw in your brother, do not blame him
Be patient with him, patience of the noble
