1. When the time of joy arrived
And the friend showed kindness
١. لَما صَفا زَمَن الهَنا
وَعَلى خَليل قَد عطفْ
2. And was granted the son
Who in the cradle was marked by beauty
٢. وَنشا له النجل الَّذي
بِالحُسن في المَهد اِتصَف
3. I hoped Muhammad would come
Like the shining sun, exalted in honor
٣. أَرخت جاءَ محمد
كَالشَمس يَزهو في الشرف
