1. You were born and became worthy of the noble ones
And the difficult path to your glory became easy

2. How could it not when you removed ignorance
With your famous sword of knowledge

3. You supported knowledge with dedication
Excelling both elders and youth

4. You established principles of rhetoric
Whose verses in Egypt are recited

5. You are worthy of every high rank
For your sublime status is the highest

6. So live happily in this illustrious time
Its brides being unveiled for you in Egypt

7. Increase ever more in stature, reverence and pride
The more virtuous you are through time

8. And Al-Hinnā does not speak falsely of you
Your loftiness, O Reyadh El-Bān, is foremost
