1. O my beloved, do not blame me for my passion,
For one enamored by a graceful gazelle.

2. Do not reprimand me, for my heart has become,
Captivated by his love, even if opposed.

3. How can I forget, when lengthened is my estrangement,
My obstacles, and my grief and passion increased?

4. How strange that I task myself with a disposition,
Where staying without him became pleasant for me.

5. Though I crossed the sea of love,
None opposed its expanse survived.

6. And by my life, I have not said, if estrangement lengthened,
"O sailors, you have ended my sincerity and affection!"

ู ุตุฏู ูุฏูู
7. So leave me be, for I am content,
With his injustice, aloofness, and transgression.

ูููู ุจูุงูุฌูุฑ ููุงูุฌููุง ููุงูุชูุนุฏู
8. Maybe through union he will one day pardon,
A loved one, whom remoteness long humbled.

9. The bearers of bliss circle with a cup,
Of sweet wine like a cheek.

10. A tight ankle that steals minds, and leaves,
The Lord of pilgrimage devoid of sanity.

ู ุงูุฑูุดุฏ
11. Like the Khediveโs sword, guardian of the land, in
Vanquishing the lives of every stubborn foe.

ูููุจ ุฃูุนู
ุงุฑ ููููู ุฎูุตู
ู ุฃููุฏู
12. O you own your subjects in safety,
From your extended justice.

ุงูุฑูุนุงูุง
ูู ุฃูู
ุงู ู
ูู ุนูุฏูู ุงูู

ุชุฏ
13. So you see even the weakest in Egypt,
In your time fears no lionโs might.
ูกูฃ. ููุชูุฑู ุฃูุถุนูู ุงูุดููุงู ุจูู
ูุตุฑ
ูููุณู ููุฎุดู ูู ุฏููุฑู ุจูุทุด ุฃูุณุฏ
14. And the noble Abul Nasr followed his lead,
In suppressing dissent with no toil or trouble.
ูกูค. ููุญูุฐุง ุญูุฐูู ุงูููุฌูุจ ุฃูุจู ุงูููุต
ุฑ ุณูู
ูู ุงูุฎูููู ูู ููู
ุน ุถุฏ
15. He made the Druze taste a cup of death,
And with Najd his anger erased the rebels.
ูกูฅ. ููุฃูุฐุงู ุงูุฏุฑูุฒ ููุฃุณ ุญุชููู
ููู
ูุญุง ุนุถุจูู ุงูุจุบุงุฉู ุจูููุฌุฏ
16. And โAsir which was hard for him,
He opened by force with good fortune.
ูกูฆ. ููุนูุณูุฑู ุนูููููู ูุงูู ููุณูุฑุงู
ููุชุญููุง ุนูููุฉู ุจุณุนุฏ ููุฌูุฏ
17. And his virtues have no limit,
Sublime in esteem beyond counting.

ูุฒุงูุงู ู
ุง ูููุง ููุท ุญุตุฑู
ุฌูู ููุฏุฑุงู ุนูู ุญูุตุฑููุง ููุงูุนุฏ
18. And Abbas the grandson has discernment
In matters with no effort or hardship.
ูกูจ. ูููุนุจุงุณ ุงูุญูููุฏ ุงููุชููุงุฏ
ูููููุถุงูุง ุจูุบููุฑ ุฌููุฏ ููููุฏ
19. And Sa'eed became uniquely virtuous,
With no peer in sea or land.
ูกูฉ. ููุณูุนูุฏ ุบูุฏุง ููุฑูุฏุงู ุจูุจูุฑูู
ููุจุจุญุฑู ูููุง ูููุงุณ ุจูุฏ
20. And Hussein reaps from knowledge,
With Abdel Halim, a radiant rose.

ูุน ุนูุจุฏ ุงูุญูููู
ุฃูุจููุฌ ููุฑุฏ
21. And this latter has the greatest fortune,
With intelligence prominent and greatest discernment.

ุจูุฐููุงุก ุจูุฏุง ููุฃูุนุธูู
ูููุฏ
22. And their brother Muhammad best son,
To their father Ali, understanding and joy.

23. May God support Egypt through them,
As they became the necklace's gems within it.
