1. O you who rebels against his father with ingratitude
By God, O worst of people, his father

2. Your Lord raised you from the misery of begging greedily
Until after hardship you reached what you sought

3. When you became wealthy
You cut him off and cut off his hopes in you

4. And dismissed his son while Kind Jābir
You broke his heart and increased his troubles

5. And closed the door of nobility in the faces of all his relatives
What an evil recompense you have attained
