1. With what he desires a servant prevailed, you are his helper,
And good tidings hastened towards him,

2. And he attained what he sought of glory and nobility,
And of high positions through which his rivals are debased,

3. And his nights and time are safe,
For him, and its threats were driven from his fortress,

4. And there is nothing in his soul that he hopes for,
Except a small thing through which his pulpits are exalted,

5. And you, O great-hearted one,
Are more knowing, and you know who your protector appointed,

6. So confer upon him a reminder from it, from which his pursuits
Become pure, and from it his sources become sweet for him,

7. And do not leave him in loss through neglect,
For you are the supporter of the one whose armies you commanded,

8. And do not procrastinate, for the best charity is that done promptly,
And the doer of good, all people thank him.
