1. O you the fortunate breast
With you, Egypt’s fortune shone

2. With your sound opinion
It attained what’s beyond hope

3. Good tidings, dawn has smiled
And arrogance bowed in disgrace

4. Its good fortune, Lord of Conquests
With it, it became eminent among states

5. With it, its camp became widespread
And with all became well known

6. So when it extends, where is escape
From it when the star sets

7. What was the Ameen regiment

8. In that exquisite system
That with it the example was set

9. It did not know of encampments
Other than tongues and swords

10. As for arrangements of formations
Through its strings was the defect

11. So turn away from ancient times
Thoughts roaming in its courtyard

12. And look to the age of bliss
To see through it the most perfect work

13. An age in which the fortunate one established
In his Egypt the new army

14. And with it the slaves busied themselves
With victory and the greatest conquest

15. From it the schools with arms
In Egypt, success serves it

16. And the breast has become relieved
From it and with knowledge it celebrated

17. From it the chieftains of the elite
With increase made bullets

18. For the destruction of those who sought deliverance
From them, so death attained them

19. From it the cavalry in armor
With whites and blacks in rows

20. When their steeds raced
The mountains' pillars shook

21. And the archers, lords of shields
From them the groups dispersed

22. And their arrows tear apart ribs
And cleave the pupils of the eyelids

23. From his troops, the sons of Ham
Like fire on the day of discord

24. No doubt they are the messengers of resolution
For he who transgressed, sought tyranny and strayed

25. And the Albanians in the open
And their stance like destiny

26. Hasten with burning anger
Toward the enemy ceaselessly

27. As for the engineer in wars
His exploration reveals tribulations

28. And in his research the army of disasters
Perishes and illnesses reap it

29. As for the famous brigadier
Of abundant intellect and copious understanding

30. On his bridges march
The fortunate one's troops unhesitatingly

31. As for the coasts and the fortresses
Their gunners preserved the goods

32. With cannons through which the lands
Became straitened for the valiant hero

33. As for the ships on the seas
For our troops in them is pride

34. Especially during siege
And the wall is worn down

35. Infantry of the fortunate breast
In war like a lofty edifice

36. Ask about their fierce fighting
If you are ignorant of what transpired

37. Nakhus before the Arabs
Penetration of the gulf was his conquest

So he excelled and dominated the foremost

The arts diversified within them

Trade prospered with justice

43. And in his era communication was established
Through it Egypt attained enlightenment

44. And through it the journeys adorned themselves
And all busied themselves with gratitude to him

45. It is not true from the era of the Bashir
In the procession of the famed pilgrimage

46. That he attained with the Great King
Other than the Fortunate One from the beginning

47. Nay, not in any year
Was it heard by people

48. That the gulf was entirely his
In it, far from the sacrifice

49. This is due to the decree of the All-Knowing
With the good fortune of the generous breast

50. And the justice of His Magnificent Eminence
Between the citizens and countries
