1. Rejoice, O Egypt, your wandering has ended now, so take pride
In Al-Asefy over all nations and states

2. The chief of chiefs who revived with his determination
And resolve the state of knowledge and deed

3. And ignorance he brought down under the earth's crust
And raised knowledge in the abode of glory

4. What a mighty man whose decoration of Egypt
Is by the beauty of his mirror, not jewelry and garments

5. It has become a shrine of knowledge, visited
From the furthest lands as in the early eras

6. And how not, when its merchandise was returned to it
By the efforts of Al-Daweery like the valiant cave of refuge

7. May God keep him in it for a long time to see
From his justice more than the desired hopes
