1. O unmatched in lineage and rank of old
Peerless in merit and manners untold

2. Najeeb by decree of the Mighty shall rise
Unburdened, without cause, devoid of ties

3. Save their enmity that to him clung
For pitying them in serving the young

4. So my good they rewarded with disregard
And truth with lies, they went too far

5. Till with that which destroyed him they speared
While wronged he to evil they steered

6. Through me he implored, let not my glory wane
Guide thou justly, devoid of personal gain

7. For rain thou art, and rain's way is to pour
Unbidden, unasked evermore

8. Regarding him, do what you ought to do
Your grace makes the wicked their days rue

9. And mend what indignity rent his repute
O you equitable to Arab and mute
