For his state after the crescent's arrival

3. The people of refinement have fasted from
That which does not come from permitted magic

4. And for them the breakfast was in his presence
For seeing him in the order of sequences

5. And from his most high place those he honored
His subjects by kissing his shoes

6. Thus for them over others
Lofty renown below the mountains' scent

7. And how could it not when this era's slave
For him in his Egypt between the loyalties

8. And that his descendant Tusun the revered
Leader of the armies and men

9. So the good feeling during every Eid
Congratulates him on the passage of nights

10. And we date it fortunate
For the Feast of Fast-Breaking honored with gifts
