1. The fortunate omens of Muhammad's arrival
In Egypt, its goodness made his sojourn pleasant

2. And his shining presence became manifest in its land
Lighting from it a full moon in the sky

3. And the kings of this age, honoring him
Released their prisoners when visiting

4. And the city won the kissing of his blessed right hand
Which was nobler than their own right hands

5. And the state rejoiced at the most felicitous arrival
In which congratulations flowed in their course

6. And standards were unfurled over his
Armies' heads, their greatness, before him

7. And his cub busied himself in arranging processions
And leading them to meet his most high eminence

8. So, gratitude increased when he came, the subjects
Expressing thanks for his secrets aloud

9. And sincerely praising him, growing more brilliant
Through the excellence of their eulogies for him

10. And when his feet arrived, they chronicled
The Blessed One's coming to his Egypt with good news
